Today was a tough day for me because I had to say goodbye to a pair of shoes I've had for over 10 years. While sitting at work earlier the top strap out of nowhere just popped. After 10 years one could say they fought a tough fight but that doesn't make it any easier to say goodbye. I knew they were a little fragile but I really had no idea our bond was coming to an end. Some of you might not understand this post or think I'm being over the top, but if a pair of shoes has ever brought you pure and simple joy then surely you can relate. I will never forget the way I felt when wearing these classic beauties and how instantly they brought joy and smiles to my face as well as the faces of others. Wearing these shoes always meant I was going to do 2 things, standout and have one hell of a good time. I guess the saying is right, All good things must come to an end, and that's what happened today. To my super Springy/Summery shoes , I ask that you keep in mind what a wonderful day it will be when we meet again (tears) Luv ya always!!How do you say goodbye to your favorite fashion items?
CUTE shoes!! AND I had this happen to be. It was my FAVORITE pair of BCBG peep toe pumps. They were black with bright teal tiny polka dots. I LOVE THEM!!!! The heel broke on one of the shoes and when I took them to a shoe repair store, they said it couldn't be fixed because of how the heel was made. I was sooo soo sad, so I totally feel your pain girl! LOL
