Last night I had the opportunity to head down to South Beach and attend the Shona Tribe gallery showcasing and cocktail reception on the Rooftop penthouse of The Hotel Breakwater. It was my first time attending Art Basel even though I'd heard great things about the variety of events. For those who don't know, Art Basel is the most prestigious art showing in America where over 2000 artist of the 20th and 21st century gather to showcase their work. If you are a luva of all things art and fashion then from December 1-4, Art Basel is definitely where you need to be.
Since it was a rooftop event I wanted to look flirty and fab so I went with a leopard print mini dress, black and gold cinch waist belt, black platform sandals, black clutch and gold accessories....How do I look?
As you can tell I found myself pretty comfortable and luving the scenery! At the completion of the gallery showcasing I headed over to the Shelbourne Hotel for the Theophilus London performance and happen to run into the one and only Tyson Beckford!!!
Who said dreams don't come true!!!
As far as my beauty products for the evening I wanted to keep the look simple due to the pattern I was wearing so I decided to just focus on the lips with a bright red lipstick.
As my night came to a super fab end I was extremely happy that I got the opportunity to experience a taste of what Art Basel has to offer and I recommend everyone head out for your taste!
