Thursday Fit of the Day!

Happy Thursday Fab Fashionistas, I hope everone is having a Fashionable day!! My day started a little differently with me being attacked by a squirrel at the park while trying to get my workout on this morning!! Ok Ok maybe I wasn't exactly attacked but it did give me very beaty eyes and chase me about 50 yards, Oh the horror! But besides that minor incident today is turning out to be a Killer Day! How much of that greatness do you think my Thursday fit is responsible for?????

Although this top/bottom combination looks like they were created for each other I bought them both at seperate times for different looks but when I combined them this morning I felt it was a match made in the fashion heavens.....

I really need everyone to work with me and pretend that I am wearing a perfectly coiffed side bun because when I was putting this look together thats what I imagined...Please and thank you!

You see while I luv her voice I have never really been a big fan of Jennifer's sometimes questionable style. Bargain Shopping Fabness!

I'm always talking about being a bargain shopper and my bargain shopping finds, but now Instead of just talking about them I'd luv to actually show you some of my work,  Lets get started....

I found these super cute high waist lace trim short shorts a couple weekends ago at the Macy's One Day Sale and at the fab price of just $8 bucks there was no way I was going to leave them behind....

 

I wasn't exactly sure what I would pair these shorts with but when I came across this blazer covered in flowers at Ross for a fab $9.99 I thought about a look I'd recently seen Solange wearing and knew immediately it would go perfect with my short shorts

To complete my look I paired the shorts and blazer with a simple black tank, huge hoops, red pout, big hair, single strap heels, and in no time a Bargain Shopping Winner emerged....Not a bad way to spend $18 bucks right???

Weekend Recap!

Happy Monday Fab Fashionistas, I hope everyone had a fashionable weekend! Friday I spent some quality girl time with a good friend at TGI Fridays eating and drinking everything in sight. Saturday I had the opportunity to head down to South Beach and support the American Black Film Festival by taking in 2 movies, Otelo Burning and The Dark Party, which were both Great! Celebrities such as Traci Ellis Ross, Malinda Williams, Rockmond Dunbar, and Mekhi Phifer, were all in attendance for this years festival amongst a host of others making the festival the highlight of my weekend. On Sunday I relaxed a little , reorganized my closet, and did a bit of bargain shopping. All in all my weekend was Fab! The Problem With Trousers!

Hello Everyone, Today I wanted to share  with you one of my biggest fashion gripes and that's the problem I have wearing trousers. I mean I ran track for many years and  it's safe to say my thighs are a little fuller than most but why why why can't I find the right pair to amplify what I consider to be  my greatest assets? When I find one that fits the thigh area its normally too big in the waist or too tight on the backside which is never ever appropriate! Heavens forbid they don't stretch...Forget About It!. Am I the only one having this trouser issue? The Trouser Struggle is real so I urge you to Speak now Fashionistas or forever hold your piece!
