Come and Talk to Me Fridays!

TGIF Fabulites, Can we talk? Have you ever had what seemed to be a meaningless experience make you want to rethink your entire existence? I know it's a little deep for a Friday but please follow along and help ya girl out!

Yesterday as I took pride in informing my coworker of how one of his favorite lunchtime spots appeared on this weeks dirty dining report the strangest thing happened. Immediately after I read to him word for word of how multiple roaches were discovered at the establishment among other violations I headed to the kitchen to prepare my chicken fajita salad for the day.
So there I was feeling good about lyfe in general and the fact that it was the fourth day in a row I was Coke free and had actually stuck to my guns about not eating out for the week and then it happened! I had my salad in one hand and a cup of water in the other and out of nowhere the biggest roach i'd probably ever seen jumped out at me. I screamed and ran out of the kitchen as quickly as i could leaving a trail of spinach and ranch dressing behind me! Everyone came running out to see what happened and after i regained my composure I managed to let them know that I'd been attacked by a creature in the kitchen. Of course there were some stares and chuckles but for the mostpart my coworkers were supportive. I was embarrassed because of my behavior, mad at the roach for disturbing my lunch when I was on my way out of the kitchen and also convinced that everything happens for a reason and that it was so much more of a coincidence that I was attacked by the roach directly after the dirty dining report.
Clearly there's a lesson to be learned in any and every experience. Have you ever had a seemingly useless situation make you want to rethink your entire existence?  Feel free to share it with the Frugal Flirty N Fab!
