Naturally Fall means different things to different people. While changing of the seasons and temperatures dropping from 95-90 degrees might not be cause for full blown celebration for most South Floridians that doesn't prevent me from getting some of my best shopping done, enjoying some of my favorite treats, and being one of my most favorite times of year. Today I'd like to share with you  a couple reasons why Fall means the world to me and also tell you about the #bakeinthefunsweepstakes

1. It's Back to School Time- From being a student myself to now having kids that attend school Fall has always been welcomed. As a child it was based mostly on being able to go back to school shopping and reconnect with my friends that I hadn't seen over the Summer. As an adult and parent it's all about getting the kids ready for another successful school year and in the routine of going to school. It's also a time when you can reflect on growth which is always beautiful.

 

 2. It's the Start of Football Season- My family and I are huge Football fans and from little league  to high school, to college to the Big Game we are definitely on the scene and loving it. I love opening night football and the thrill of making your season predictions  while wishing your team whomever that may be the best.  With each member of my family rooting for a different team its also nice to have a little family friendly competition going on as well. Fall just wouldn't be Fall without Football!

 

3. Last but not least Fall is one of my Favorites because of the wonderful Fall Treats that come about. One of my families most enjoyable Fall treats is my oh so special M&M's®,  Pound Cake. This recipe has been in my family for years and today I'm also going to share with  you how to make this special treat and begin a new tradition with your family. Are you ready to get started?

 

Ingredients

 

 

1 package Pillsbury™ Moist Supreme® Cake Mix

1 package vanilla instant pudding and pie filling

M&M's® Pecan Pie 9.9oz

4 large eggs

   1 cup water  

⅓ cup vegetable oil

 

 

Baking Instructions

 

Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease and flour 10-inch Bundt® or tube pan. 

Combine cake mix, pudding mix, eggs, water and oil in large bowl.

Beat with an electric mixer at medium speed for 2 minutes. Pour into prepared pan

Bake 50 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean.

Cool cake on wire rack 25 minutes. Remove cake from pan and cool completely.

Add icing and M&M's® Pecan Pie

Add a bottle of Snapple® Fall Spice, and a Mott's® Apple Sauce Original 48oz and Serve warm or cool.
