Swim Miami the Recap!

Hey yall Hey! I feel like its been so long since we last talked but I'm here today to catch you right on up on anything you might have missed and what's been keeping me so busy. As many of you know July 14th-17th was Swim Miami Week and I was honored to be a part of it. There were great event, shows, gifts bags, celebrities, drinks, and of course Swim Suits for all. Take a look at my rundown!

For my very first Swim Miami event I was invited by Bagatelle Miami Beach and Celebrity Page TV to the Miami Swim Kick off Party. It was my very first time visiting Bagatelle restaurant and it was everything I needed it to be. The event was hosted by Marysol Patton, former Real Housewives of Miami cast member, and proved to be the perfect Kickoff! I was at first a little undecided on what I wanted to wear but when I came across this cutout maxi with splits I knew she was the one. Pefect for a night at the beach! Can my thigh get a little love? Ha!

LA-based swimwear brand Lee + Lani, who made their Miami Swim Week Debut this year, and athletic clothing brand Fancy Pants, Pictured above showcased designs from their latest collections during the evening.

The drinks were flowing, BeyoncĂ© was playing on the ones and two's, Chef Matthieu Godard was serving signature hors d'oeuvres and pastries and my Ladies from E's WAGS were in the house soaking up the scene while also filming an episode for their show and without a doubt I knew this was exactly where the Frugal Flirty N Fab belonged! Definitely in my element!

For Day 2 of Swim Miami it was all about the runway shows ant the beautiful W Hotel on Miami Beach. I was super excited and knew I was in for a great night when I managed to snag parking for a cute $4. Those of you who have ever tried to park on Miami Beach know exactly what an honor that was. My first show of the night was the Hammock show and trust me when I tell you it  didn't disappoint! The models, the swimsuits, the music, the makeup, everything was on point and just when I thought it couldn't get any better it did just that! The only thing that bothered me a little was the fact that I was waiting on the final walk so I could capture the models in their swimsuits and for some reason there was no final call so I ended up missing out on some great pics. Lesson learned!

One of my Favorite one piece looks from Hammock!

This model rocked every look she walked in, Luv the Fro!

For my second show of the evening it was all about Hot as Hell! With a name like that it had to be great right! It started out really cute with this pretty Lady serenading the audience with a super cute rendition of You Give Me Fever. Her voice was amazing and so was the show! Here's a little video of the final walk. Hope you like it!

I specially enjoyed how they incorporated both the kids and pregnant women into their show, Hot as Hell indeed! Just let you know they had a little something to offer to any and everyone! Definitely one of my favorite shows of Swim Miami!

This is the look I wore for my first day at Swim Miami and I absolutely loved everything about it. It was Miami Hot, Colors were Poppin, little sex appeal and perfect for a Swim wear event. Once again my thigh decided to show up and show out and I wouldn't have had it any other way! How do I look?

Thanks for allowing me to share with you my Swim Miami adventures. Overall it was an amazing event and I'm already looking forward to next year. If there was one thing I'd like to see different next year it's that I would like to see a more diverse event. South Florida is one of the largest melting pots that exist and it's rare that you can go anywhere and not come upon a diverse group of people. Next year I would like to see a  more diverse group of designers and models as well. I would also like to see some of my Plus Size Beauties hit the catwalk.  It would definitely take
Swim Miami to the next level and I'm looking forward to it.

Did you attend any Miami Swim Week events? What was your favorite show?
