Last night I had the pleasure of attending the MOCA/Vanity Fair International Party at the Museum of Contemporary Art and let me just begin by telling you the night was amazing! It was my first Art Basel party and one I won't soon forget. Let me walk you through.
First and foremost before we get into the activities of the night let's talk about my fit for the evening. When I was first invited to the event I knew I wanted to wear something Chic, Comfortable, Trendy, and something I thought would be a great mix of art and fashion. I chose to wear this ASOS oxblood swing dress, accessorized with a black belt, leopard clutch and my new Bakers Penny Sue Heeless booties. I have to admit I felt like a million bucks and let me just say I worked THEE hell out of the Booties.... How do I look?
Just wanted to give you a front and back view of the dress without the belt. I like that it can be dressed up and played down. Definitely a Fab and Flirty Find! I thought the look was perfect for wearing my hair up in a puff and throwing on a fab pair of earrings. Perfect finishing touches and I was ready for the night!
When I first arrived to the event of course I had to take a picture on the red carpet. I mean it was my first Vanity Fair event after all...lol! Luv that I had an empty cup in my hand and a camera hanging...Blogging lyfe at its finest.
The event was filled with the finest of art appreciators eagerly awaiting a fab Art Basel Showing. I could hardly believe how many fabulous people were in attendance. MOCA/Vanity Fair did a great job making sure all guest were accommodated complete with Great Drinks, Food, Music, and most importantly impressive Art!
Caught this glimpse of Jake hanging up in the hallway and knew I had to get a shot of him in all his glory! Luv Jake! Also I'm a huge fan of Vanity Fair!
This was just an interesting sign that was highlighted out front of the MOCA Museum that I found delightful. Vanity Fair Rocks!
Another glimpse of the amazing crowd gathered to celebrate this combination of the best of Fashion and Art.
Again this was one of the best events I've had the pleasure of attending and if this is a sign of whats to come during this years Art Basel I say Bring it on!! What events are you most interested in attending or hearing about?
