Happy Sunday Loves! For all those dealing with the Daylight Saving Time Change Struggle, all I can say is Coffee is Bae! Last night I had the pleasure of attending the Miami International Film Festival Closing Party at the One Building and I couldn't wait to share with you my Fit of the Night! Let's take a look!
Today's the official last day of the Miami International Film Festival which offered several days of red carpet events, movie screenings, seminars, masterclasses, events, and dope parties. I was so honored to partake in the activities. When it came time to pick a look for the closing night party I knew I wanted to wear something that was Cute, Comfy, Chic, and of course within my budget. This Shoptiques stunner basically jumped out at me!
Can you think of anything that screams more International Film Festival than this? The added bonus was that the closing night party was held outside which made my look even more fitting.
After not being able to find the address to the event, being stuck in traffic for nearly an hour and contemplating just giving up and not even attending the party I made some power moves and arrived!
I decided to take in the atmosphere and allow my dress to work the room and work the room it did! When I tell you the dress had a life of it's own, Trust me it did!
The closing party was everything I needed it to be, There was a great DJ, the drinks were flowing, food was amazing, and best of all I was in my element surrounded by creative! One of my favorite moments of the nightwas the live violinist! She rocked! I managed to catch a snippet of her amazing performance on my Instagram account so make sure to take a look!
One funny thing that happened was when I asked my teen/photographer to take a couple pics I headed off to the event his words to me were "Mom are you seriously wearing that dress"? We have to give him some time FABulites. Clearly he does not know Fab when he see's it but trust me when I tell you he's a work in progress, Ha! To complete my fit I threw on my lace up blue heels which were super comfortable and budget friendly costing m only $22 bucks! You will definitely be seeing more of these beauties to come! My favorite blue earrings and Violet Volt lips and it was on!
I'm a Mom who likes to get dresses up and do dope things and I'm super appreciative to be allowed to share those things with you.
