BABY BOY

I knew the day would come but I just didn't expect it to come so soon. Today I dropped my son off for his first day of football practice. I was so nervous but I tried my hardest to be the mother he needed me to be. All week he's been walking around doing push ups, eating all his meals, and asking everyone to feel how big his muscles are. I was even able to blackmail him around the house by telling him if he did not clean his room he would not be able to go to practice.

Although he is only 6 it's experiences like this that help him grow into the man he is destined to be. I just have to realize that he is growing up and this will be the first of many future endeavors, but to me he will always be my Baby Boy.
