Fabulites, As many of you already know, I'm all about finding a good deal. What you may not know is that sometimes finding that great deal involves me having to leave the house with my amazing Toddler in tow! It's been quite a learning experience but one I'm proud to say I've pretty much perfected at this point. Today I'd love to share with you exactly what I've learned by discussing with you the Top 5 items no Toddler Mom should ever leave the house without. You might want to take notes so make sure you have pen and paper in hand!
1. Easy Access Outfit---I'm going to be perfectly honest with you, Between the time you get out the car, get toddler in stroller and head into the store you might have a good hour to accomplish your goals. If you happen to be shopping for clothes or shoes you want to make sure you're not utilizing too much of your hour in the dressing or fitting room. The key to making it out Tantrum free is to make sure you're wearing an easy access outfit. Easy access can mean many things but in this particular case I'm referring to something that's very easy to get in and out of such as maxi dress or jumper. The best part about is that you can still be super cute in both!
2. Comfortable Shoes-----Ladies I am nothing without my heels but the last thing you want is to be that Mom chasing her Toddler in a pair of high heels you've barely perfected walking in! Am I saying don't wear your heels while out and about with your Toddler, By no means! What I am saying is if you're going to wear them make sure they're the ones you have no problem sprinting in, have a good grip or traction on the bottom, and the ones you know without a doubt you're able to get the job done in! This is not the time to be guessing about what may or may not work! Toddlers are unpredictable but your choice of shoes should never be!
3. Snacks-----Mom's trust me when I tell you I have seen snacks work an unbelievable magic on my Toddler. When you reach that half hour mark your Toddler may tend to get a little irritable. They get tired of being in their stroller and are ready to be set free. When you see signs of this rest assured it's the perfect time to provide your child with a snack. Am I saying bribe your Toddler with food, Yes I Am! Usually we go with either Cheerios, Mandarin Oranges or Vanilla Wafers. There have been times when I've issued a less healthier snack but believe me when I say it's not something I'm proud of. Don't judge me!
4.Tablet-----Moms they make these stroller with everything besides a kitchen sink so i'm wondering when we're going to see one come complete with a tablet holder. My kid is obsessed with most sing a longs so until we can find a stroller that comes complete with a holder I'm perfectly fine rigging one up! We are not strangers to rolling thru the mall belting out Yo Gabba Gabba's Don't Bite Your Friends or the Mickey Mouse Playhouse song! Find what works best for you and your little one and use it to the best of your advantage. Should your toddler be strolling past the food court belting out Beyoncé's Drunk in Love probably not but to each its own!
