TGIF FABulites, We made it to the end of yet another work week and I don't know about you but this one was a tough one for me. You ever work so hard that you totally neglected the joys of being a woman? I mean this week I've been so focused that I failed to apply any makeup, get dressed up, comb my hair or do any of the things that make me feel fab. That's why when Friday rolled around I jumped out of bed and said enough is enough. Friday's are for Maxi Dresses, pretty Make-up, vibrant Head Wraps, and Me!

It felt absolutely amazing getting all dolled up instead of getting right to the basics this morning. I mean these are the little things we take for granted when taking care of the needs of everyone else and neglecting ourselves. I mean I barely recognized myself when I looked in the mirror yesterday. All I saw was an extremely hard worker yet I am so much more than that and I know you are too.

While I wanted to be cute I didn't want to fight with an outfit so I knew right away this crochet maxi dress (Dolly) was the one for me. It's comfortable, low maintenance, fits on a variety of body types, and the nude color is great for Spring and Summer. It's absolutely perfect if pretty and feminine  is the look you're going for.

Next it was time to tackle my makeup. I wasn't quite sure what colors I wanted to rock with my makeup but what I did know is that a girl can never go wrong with a little pink, and suddenly pink it was. I used my favorite foundation, Nars Sheer Glow, threw on some lashes, tamed my non existing brows and topped off my look with pink eyeshadow and a pink pout. How do I look?

 

Wasn't quite sure what I wanted to do with my hair but what I did know is that I didn't want anything that was time consuming. In an instant I had the idea to just rock my pink head wrap and that's exactly what I did. I was becoming more and more confidant about being able to wear them and rock dope styles so today I was going to put my head wrapping abilities to the test. I think I passed with flying colors but I might be a little biased.
